Products

Our basic metals are useful in the development of business and industrial applications including manufacturing and construction. These are often applied in the creation of smart phones, electrical vehicles, and rocket engines. Simply put, our products advance global efforts toward a more sustainable future.

Cobalt

Cobalt is primarily used in lithium-ion batteries, and in the manufacture of magnetic, wear-resistant and high-strength alloys. The compounds cobalt silicate and cobalt(II) aluminate (CoAl2O4, cobalt blue) give a distinctive deep blue colour to glass, ceramics, inks, paints and varnishes

Coltan

Coltan is used primarily for the production of tantalum capacitors, used in many electronic devices. Coltan is important in the production of mobile phones; tantalum capacitors are used in almost every kind of electronic device.

Copper

Is used to conduct electricity – mostly as wiring. It is also an excellent conductor of heat and is used in cooking utensils, heat sinks, and heat exchangers. Large amounts are also used to make alloys such as brass (copper and zinc) and bronze (copper, tin, and zinc).

Diamonds

All diamond particles are embedded into saw blades, drill bits and grinding wheels to increase their ability to cut tough materials. Diamond powder, made into a diamond paste, is used for polishing or for very fine grinding. Diamonds are also used to cut and polish other diamonds for jewelry.

Gold

A relatively rare element, gold is a precious metal that has been used for coinage, jewellery, and other arts throughout recorded history. In the past, a gold standard was often implemented as a monetary policy.
